SI Staffing Franchise FDD, Costs & Fees (2025)

SI Staffing is a staffing agency franchise offering workforce solutions in industries such as healthcare, manufacturing, and administrative support.

Founded in 2002 in Baltimore, Maryland, SI Staffing has grown into a respected name in the staffing industry, offering workforce solutions that meet the evolving needs of local businesses.

The company began franchising in 2018, giving aspiring entrepreneurs the chance to enter the fast-paced staffing sector through a proven, community-oriented model. With its headquarters still based in Baltimore, SI Staffing has expanded its presence into multiple states, including Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Montana.

SI Staffing provides recruitment and staffing services across a broad range of industries such as light industrial, clerical and professional services, technical engineering, and healthcare. This multi-sector approach allows franchisees to diversify their client base and respond effectively to regional employment trends.

What differentiates SI Staffing from larger, more corporate competitors is its strong emphasis on local ownership and personal service. Each franchise is locally operated, giving owners the ability to build lasting relationships with both employers and job seekers in their area.

Training

SI Staffing provides franchisees with a comprehensive training program designed to prepare them for operating a staffing business effectively. The training is divided into three primary programs:

  1. Operations Training
This includes 2 hours of classroom instruction and 4 hours of on-the-job training. The focus is on the day-to-day procedures and administrative operations necessary to run a staffing franchise. The training is conducted at either the Baltimore headquarters or the franchisee’s location.
  2. Management Training
This also consists of 2 hours in the classroom and 4 hours of practical, on-site experience. The management module aims to develop leadership skills and guide franchisees on supervising their teams and managing business performance.
  3. Software Training
Franchisees receive 4 hours of classroom training and 8 hours of on-the-job training specific to the use of ATS software, which supports operations, marketing, customer data, staffing, and financial tracking. This ensures franchisees are proficient in the essential digital tools used to operate their business.

Territory Protection

SI Staffing grants its franchisees an exclusive territory as outlined in the franchise agreement. This territory is defined by specific criteria such as population size—generally between 250,000 and 499,999 people—along with factors like the number of local businesses, household income levels, and competitive presence.

Within this designated area, SI Staffing agrees not to open company-owned outlets or grant franchises to others, ensuring territorial protection for the franchisee.

However, this exclusivity is conditional upon the franchisee’s performance. Franchisees must achieve a minimum of $150,000 in annual gross sales starting in their second year; failure to do so could result in termination of the franchise.
