Noodles & Company ensures its franchisees and their staff are well-prepared through a comprehensive training program:
General Training Programs: Initial training is provided for Area Operators, Operating Partners, and the first two general managers of the first two restaurants. This includes covering various expenses such as travel and lodging. Additional or follow-up training is available upon request or as required by the franchisor.
Certification Requirements: General managers and other management personnel must complete certified training programs before taking on their roles. This may involve periodic or additional training for new product launches, equipment usage, and other operational aspects. Initial training for certain roles is provided by the franchisor at no cost.
On-the-Job Training: The franchisor outlines the hours needed for on-the-job training, which vary based on individual skills. The training consists of various modules and is scheduled quarterly to meet the needs of Franchise Area Operators (FAOs).
Training Location and Personnel: Training typically takes place at the Noodles & Company Central Support Office in Colorado and at certified training restaurants across different states. The training team comprises experienced staff and restaurant management from Noodles & Company.
Franchisees at Noodles & Company do not receive exclusive territory rights. They are authorized to own and operate a Noodles & Company restaurant at a designated location for the duration of the agreement.
Franchisees may encounter competition from other franchisees, Noodles & Company-owned outlets, or other distribution channels or competitive brands managed by Noodles & Company. The Franchise Agreement does not grant franchisees any options, rights of first refusal, or similar privileges to obtain additional franchises.
