International Food Creations is a fast-casual food franchise specializing in fresh sushi and Asian-inspired prepared foods. The brand operates primarily in non-traditional locations, including supermarkets, universities, corporate campuses, and food courts.

Its menu features sushi rolls, poke bowls, ramen, bento boxes, curry dishes, and other Japanese and pan-Asian offerings. The concept is designed for customers seeking convenient, ready-to-eat meals made with quality ingredients.

International Food Creations, LLC was founded in 2020 and incorporated in Delaware. The company is headquartered in Los Angeles, California, with operational support functions based in Southern California. The brand began offering franchises in December 2020, positioning itself as a modern food service concept focused on scalable growth.

The franchise model is built around food service counters rather than standalone restaurants, allowing operators to enter high-traffic environments with lower overhead. International Food Creations franchisees typically operate inside grocery stores, college campuses, and business facilities.

Training

International Food Creations offers a detailed, multi-stage training program for franchisees and their key staff:

  1. Initial Training Program: This six-day program covers classroom and on-the-job training at the franchisor’s headquarters or another designated location. It includes operational techniques, preparation of fresh sushi and related products, retail counter management, and ServSafe® certification. Completion is mandatory, and failure to do so may result in termination of the agreement.
  2. Replacement and Successor Training: If the Operating Principal or Director of Operations is replaced, the new individual must complete the full initial training. The franchisor may charge a reasonable fee for such training.
  3. Post-Opening Training: For the first location, the franchisor provides up to three days of on-site post-opening training at no charge. Additional days may be requested or required, with associated fees.
  4. Additional and Supplemental Training: Franchisees may be required to attend further training sessions on new products, operational updates, or system enhancements. These may be mandatory or optional, with the franchisor charging fees and all travel and lodging costs borne by the franchisee.
  5. On-Site Remedial Training: Upon reasonable request or at the franchisor’s discretion, on-site remedial training may be provided. If the training is franchisee-initiated, per diem fees and associated expenses apply. If deemed necessary by the franchisor, only reasonable expenses may be charged.

Territory Protection

International Food Creations does not offer exclusive territory protection to its franchisees. While franchisees may be granted specific locations in grocery stores or similar venues through addendums, they receive no minimum territory and no exclusivity rights.

The franchisor retains the right to open or license other food service counters using the same or different trademarks anywhere—even within the same facility as an existing franchisee.

The franchisor can also sell products directly to customers in any location, including through channels like the Internet, catalogs, or third-party retailers. Franchisees may face competition from other franchisees, company-owned outlets, or other brands the franchisor controls.
