Training

GigWorx provides a thorough and structured training program to prepare franchisees for successful business operation.

1. Initial Training Program: Before opening the business, GigWorx requires the franchisee (or an approved Principal Owner), Branch Manager, Salesperson, and Recruiter to complete a remote or designated in-person training program lasting up to two weeks. This training covers business operations and is mandatory for opening the franchise.
2. Opening Assistance: Within seven days of opening, GigWorx assigns an employee to assist at the franchise location for up to four days, providing hands-on support during initial operations.
3. Supplemental and Refresher Training: Franchisees and designated personnel may be required to attend ongoing training sessions via the internet during the term of the agreement. These may include new operational procedures, management, and promotional strategies.

Territory Protection

GigWorx provides limited territory protection to its franchisees, centered around a defined “Territory” granted upon franchise approval. This territory typically encompasses a population between 50,000 and 100,000 people and is anchored to an “Authorized Location.”

While GigWorx agrees not to locate or authorize a similar business within that territory during the agreement term, the territory protection only remains valid if the franchisee complies with all agreement conditions. Despite this protection, GigWorx retains several important rights.

These include the ability to sell services through alternative channels such as the internet, enter into agreements with National Accounts, and engage in mergers or acquisitions involving competing services.
