Initial Training Program (or "Owner/Operator Module")

The primary initial training program covers various topics, including the history and philosophy of Club Pilates, real estate considerations, and more. This training is conducted at the franchise's headquarters in Irvine, CA, or another designated location. It can also be completed virtually.

Ongoing/Refresher Training

Franchisees and their management personnel may be required to attend up to five (5) days of additional training each year at a designated training facility. This training is provided without any training fee.

Instructor Bridge Training Program

Instructors hired over time must complete the Instructor Bridge Training Program before they can conduct any classes or perform any approved services at the franchisee's studio.

Remedial Training

If the franchisor determines that a franchisee is not operating their studio in accordance with the agreement or operations manual, or if there is a material default in the agreement, the franchisor may require the franchisee, their Designated Manager, and/or certain Authorized Instructors to attend up to five (5) additional days of training.

Territory Protection

The franchise provides territory protection within the Designated Territory. However, it is not an exclusive territory, meaning that other Club Pilates studios, whether franchised or company-owned, could potentially operate outside of your specific Designated Territory.

This setup ensures that while you have a defined area for your operations, the brand can still grow and expand in nearby regions. The goal is to balance providing you with a manageable operating zone while allowing the franchise to maintain its growth trajectory and market presence.
