Strive 11 Fitness is a modern fitness franchise built around a no-class-times workout model that allows members to train on their own schedule. The concept combines functional strength training, cardio, and endurance into structured full-body sessions guided by on-site coaches.

Strive 11 Fitness focuses on results, accountability, and flexibility for busy adults who want effective workouts without rigid class schedules.

The brand was founded in 2021 in Tarzana, California, where the first location opened and established the foundation for the concept.

Strive 11 Fitness was created to solve common pain points found in traditional gyms and group fitness studios, including overcrowded classes and limited scheduling options. The model quickly gained traction due to its adaptable training format and strong community focus.

Strive 11 Fitness is headquartered in Tarzana, California, and began franchising in 2023.

Training

Strive 11 Fitness provides a multi-phase training program aimed at ensuring operational readiness and brand consistency across its studios:

  1. Franchisee Management Certification Training: This is a mandatory 40-hour training program split evenly between classroom and on-site instruction. It takes place at the affiliate location in Tarzana, California and must be completed by the franchisee, Operating Partner, and General Manager. Topics include POS training, service/product education, operations, client retention, and pre-grand opening procedures.
  2. Opening On-Site Assistance: The franchisor offers 40 hours of on-site support during the launch of the studio. This can occur before or after opening and includes hands-on help with implementation and execution of the business systems.
  3. Additional and Refresher Training: If new management is hired or existing staff needs updates, additional training is required at the franchisee’s expense. The franchisor may also mandate periodic refresher courses and provide ongoing operational guidance.
  4. Employee Training and Conferences: Training for employees beyond the initial trainees is available for a fee. Franchisees must also attend occasional conferences determined by the franchisor, with all related travel and attendance costs covered by the franchisee.

Territory Protection

Strive 11 Fitness grants franchisees a “Protected Territory,” typically encompassing either a six-mile radius or an area with a minimum population of 125,000 people, whichever is smaller.

Within this territory, the franchisor will not establish another Strive 11 Fitness studio, as long as the franchisee remains in compliance with their agreement. However, franchisees do not have the right to acquire additional locations within their territory, nor do they receive a right of first refusal.

Despite the territorial grant, Strive 11 Fitness reserves broad rights to compete. The franchisor may authorize or operate other businesses—even those using some of the same marks—within or near the Protected Territory, as long as they are not branded Strive 11 Fitness studios.
