Training

Athletic Republic provides a comprehensive training program for franchisees and their staff to ensure the successful operation of their Training Centers. Here is a breakdown of the training programs offered by the franchisor:

  1. Initial Training Program
Franchisees and their team receive instruction on delivering Athletic Republic’s Training Programs, operating the franchise system, using proprietary software, acquiring and retaining members, and managing the business. The Manager and Head Trainer must complete Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3/Training Camp certifications.
  2. Certification Courses
Athletic Republic offers Level 1, 2, and 3 Education and Certification Courses for Trainers and Managers. These courses cover exercise science, sports training, coaching philosophy, business operations, sales, and marketing. They are conducted online, onsite, or at designated training centers.
  3. ACL Bridge Certification
If a franchise plans to offer the ACL Bridge Program, the administering staff must complete a specific certification before implementing the protocols.
  4. Business Acceleration Program (BAP)
This is a 28-week program that includes introductions to preferred real estate agents and attorneys, site evaluations, and guidance through pre-opening processes.

Territory Protection

Athletic Republic provides a defined protected territory to its franchisees for each Training Center. Within this area, the franchisor agrees not to open or allow others to open competing Athletic Republic franchises, provided the franchisee remains compliant with the agreement.

This territory is clearly outlined in the franchise documents and remains fixed as of the agreement date. However, Athletic Republic reserves the right to operate or authorize others to operate under different trademarks within and outside the protected territory.

The franchisor can also conduct business at designated "Special Sites" such as professional sports teams, college athletic programs, military bases, and Olympic training centers, even if they fall within a franchisee’s territory. These exceptions mean that while some territorial protection exists, it is not entirely exclusive.
