Volofit Franchise FDD, Costs & Fees (2025)

Volofit is a fitness franchise offering high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workouts designed to improve strength, endurance, and overall fitness.

Volofit is a boutique fitness franchise delivering dynamic, high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workouts designed to optimize total-body performance. Founded in 2020, Volofit was launched by the creators of Tough Mudder Bootcamp, who brought their expertise in functional training to a studio setting.

The brand is headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, and began franchising soon after its inception, aiming to grow its footprint across the United States. At the core of Volofit's offering are functional HIIT group classes that vary daily in modality, speed, intensity, and duration.

This format ensures a full-body training experience that continually challenges the body and keeps members engaged. Volofit workouts are scalable to all fitness levels and are delivered in a supportive, group-based environment, encouraging motivation and consistency.

What truly differentiates Volofit is its commitment to constant innovation and community building. The brand’s programming evolves with fitness trends and research, while its in-studio technology enhances the member experience.

Training

Volofit provides a structured and multi-phase training program to ensure franchisees and their teams are well-prepared to operate a fitness studio effectively. Here are the key training components offered by the franchisor:

  1. Owner Training Program
Within 45 days of signing the Franchise Agreement, the franchisee (or Managing Owner) and up to two additional trainees must complete the Owner Training Program. This program includes both classroom and on-site training in Charlotte, NC, and covers general operations. If more than three individuals attend, an additional fee is charged per person.
  2. Business Training Program
This program focuses on pre-opening business operations and is held at the franchisee’s studio location. It ensures the franchisee is equipped to manage day-to-day tasks and meet operational standards before launching.
  3. Fitness Coach Certification
All fitness coaches must complete and pass Volofit’s certification to be eligible to conduct group coaching sessions. This ensures consistency in workout delivery and brand standards across locations.

Territory Protection

Volofit grants franchisees a limited territorial protection defined in the Franchise Agreement. Typically, this territory is a six-minute drive radius, which can be adjusted for geographic or demographic factors.

While the franchisor agrees not to open or franchise another Volofit studio in the same format within this area, the franchisee must conduct business solely at the approved location and may not market outside this territory without permission.

However, this protection is not absolute. Volofit and its affiliates retain the right to engage in a wide range of activities both within and outside the designated territory. This includes selling products online, hosting branded events, and operating similar businesses under different trademarks, even within the franchisee’s protected area.
