Training

Veterans Restoration provides a comprehensive training program to prepare franchisees for operating their business effectively. The training includes both initial and ongoing components, structured to meet the franchisor's standards. Here are the key programs provided:

  1. Initial Training Program: This is mandatory for the Managing Owner and one designated manager, to be completed within 45 days of the business opening. The training may be delivered in-person or remotely and includes classroom and on-the-job instruction. Additional attendees beyond the two designated individuals must pay $500 per person per day.
  2. Supplemental Training: If the franchisee hires a new Operating Manager or fails to meet operational standards, the franchisor may require supplemental training. This is charged at $500 per trainer per day plus travel and accommodation costs. This training may also be conducted online or on-site, depending on the situation.
  3. System-wide and Refresher Courses: Franchisees and their managers may be required to attend periodic refresher courses or system-wide training programs. These are intended to keep the team updated with evolving business practices and standards.

Territory Protection

Veterans Restoration grants franchisees a designated Operating Territory, typically covering a population of about 500,000. Within this area, franchisees can operate and market their business, but the territory is not exclusive. The franchisor may still sell or authorize similar services through other channels within the same area.

Franchisees are prohibited from soliciting outside their territory or operating in another franchisee’s area. They may serve customers in unassigned “Open Areas” only with prior approval. Once an Open Area is assigned to another franchisee, they must stop operations there.
