The Yard Gym is a boutique strength and conditioning fitness franchise that blends expert coaching, high-energy group workouts, and modern design for all fitness levels. It was founded in 2020 by Daniel and Tiarne Bova in Australia, beginning as a single location in Sydney’s Sutherland Shire.
The brand is headquartered under TYG Enterprises, LLC with a principal place of business in Caringbah, New South Wales, Australia.
The Yard Gym began franchising early in its journey, positioning itself as a scalable fitness concept. It offers functional strength, conditioning, and anaerobic group classes using pro-level proprietary fitness equipment, as well as personalized coaching in an aesthetic, high-energy space.
What sets The Yard Gym apart is its lifestyle-brand focus, strong community engagement, and its ability to blend strength and conditioning training with modern aesthetics.

The Yard Gym Franchisor offers a structured training program to ensure franchisees and their management teams are well-prepared to operate a Franchised Gym effectively. The training is divided into several distinct components:
The Yard Gym offers limited territory protection to its franchisees. While the Franchisor commits not to open or authorize another Network Gym within the assigned Territory of a franchisee, this protection only applies to physical gym locations.
The franchisee does not receive exclusivity over clients who live or work in that Territory, meaning those individuals may choose to frequent any other Network Gym.
Additionally, the Franchisor reserves several rights within a franchisee’s Territory. These include operating in “Nontraditional Venues” like malls, airports, and hotels, or converting acquired competitors into Network Gyms within the same Territory.
