Training

JETSET Pilates provides a structured training program to ensure franchisees and their staff are fully prepared to operate their studios. Here’s a breakdown of the training offered by the franchisor:

  1. Initial Training Program
The franchisee's Owner/Operator, general manager (if any), lead instructor, and up to six part-time instructors must attend an initial training program before the studio opens. This includes approximately:
    • 30 hours of in-person training at the JETSET Training Academy over five days
    • 10 hours of online courses via their learning management system
    • Up to 10 hours of on-site training at the franchisee’s studio
Additional owners and employees may attend at the franchisee’s discretion.
  2. JETSET Training Academy Certification
After opening, each instructor (beyond the initial six) must attend the JETSET Training Academy for five days. There’s a $975 fee per instructor for this training.
  3. Mandatory Conferences
Franchisees are required to attend periodic national or regional conferences, though not more than one every 18 months. These sessions focus on business operations and general issues affecting the network.

Territory Protection

JETSET Pilates offers limited territory protection to its franchisees. Each franchisee is granted a designated “Territory,” which includes a minimum population of 30,000 people over the age of 20.

During the term of the agreement, the franchisor will not establish or license another JETSET studio to operate within that protected territory. However, the territory protection does not preclude competition from alternative channels of distribution.

JETSET retains the right to sell or license competitive or identical products and services under different trademarks or through online platforms and third-party retailers within the same territory.
