Training

STORsquare provides a structured training program for franchisees to ensure consistent business operations. Here's a breakdown of the training offered by the franchisor:

  1. Initial Training Program
STORsquare conducts an initial training program for the franchisee’s Principal Executive(s) or designated management personnel (Key Managers). This training is either delivered at a designated physical location or through a virtual platform. The training is provided free of charge for up to two individuals, but the franchisee must cover all related expenses such as travel, lodging, and wages. Additional trainees or retraining due to unsatisfactory completion will incur extra fees.
  2. Supplementary Pre-Opening and Opening Assistance
Upon written request and subject to availability, STORsquare may offer on-site support during the pre-opening or opening phase of the business. This assistance is optional and charged at the franchisor’s current training fee rates.
  3. Ongoing and Additional Training Programs
The franchisor may provide periodic additional training sessions for franchisees, their managers, or representatives. Participation in these programs may be mandatory as per the franchise agreement and subject to the franchisor’s discretion. All costs associated with attending these training sessions are borne by the franchisee.
  4. Retraining and Refresher Programs
Franchisees are required to ensure that at least one Key Manager or Principal Executive who is responsible for day-to-day operations has completed the franchisor's training programs. If required, these individuals must undergo retraining or refresher programs, particularly before renewal or transfer of the franchise. Failure to complete such training can result in franchise termination or denial of franchise sale.

Territory Protection

STORsquare offers territory protection to its franchisees under specific conditions. Franchisees are granted a defined and protected territory as long as they remain in full compliance with their franchise agreement and focus on primarily servicing customers within that area.

During the term of the agreement, STORsquare will not allow other franchisees to operate within the protected territory or authorize others to do so under the STORsquare name and system.

However, this territorial protection comes with limitations. The franchisor retains the right to operate or authorize others to operate businesses under different marks within the same territory.
