Training

Garage Living provides a detailed and structured training program for its franchisees to ensure proper business operation and brand consistency:

  1. Initial Training Program
Before opening, Garage Living offers a mandatory two-week training program at its headquarters or another designated location for the franchisee and up to two additional trainees. This program covers business operations, product knowledge, sales, administration, and accounting. A third week of onsite training at the franchise location ensures all systems, equipment, and procedures are in place.
  2. Refresher Training
Garage Living provides periodic refresher training programs and franchisee meetings, covering updates on products, services, pricing, procedures, and operational improvements. Attendance may be mandatory, and the franchisee bears travel and related costs.
  3. Additional or Replacement Employee Training
If additional or replacement employees need training, Garage Living offers programs tailored to their functions. The franchisee must pay the current training fee plus all related expenses.

Territory Protection

Garage Living grants franchisees an exclusive Designated Territory, typically covering 75,000 to 170,000 qualified households. Franchisees cannot sell or promote products outside this territory without approval, though the franchisor may sell through national chains or online channels reaching into the area.

The franchisor may adjust territory size during renewal based on demographic changes and can reduce the territory or terminate the agreement if sales benchmarks aren’t met.

Franchisees must stop servicing areas reassigned to new franchisees, and the franchisor retains rights to acquire or be acquired by businesses operating nearby without breaching territorial protections.
