Training

Daisy provides a multi-faceted training program for its franchisees to ensure effective business operations and brand alignment. Here are the key training programs offered:

  1. Initial Training Program
Daisy conducts a mandatory initial training course for the franchisee (or their Designated Owner) and one additional individual. This program typically lasts five to ten days and is held in Newport Beach, CA or virtually. Franchisees are responsible for all expenses such as travel, lodging, and meals.
  2. Pre-Opening Completion Requirement
The franchise cannot open until the franchisee and General Manager (if any) have completed this training to the franchisor's satisfaction. Any replacement of a General Manager or Designated Owner also requires completion of this training.
  3. Additional Training Requests
Franchisees can request additional training sessions at any time. These are subject to the franchisor's availability and include an extra training fee for each added participant.
  4. Refresher Training Courses
Daisy may offer and occasionally mandate refresher training to ensure continued compliance and performance. While no separate fee is charged for the courses, the franchisee must cover associated costs like travel and wages.

Territory Protection

Daisy does not grant franchisees an exclusive territory. While franchisees are assigned a defined “Territory” based on population and affluence metrics, the franchisor retains broad rights to operate within that same region.

These include the right to open additional Daisy businesses, permit other franchisees to establish locations, and use alternative channels such as online or catalog sales within any franchisee's territory.

Franchisees are restricted from soliciting customers outside of their territory unless authorized in writing. However, Daisy can establish Experience Centers or serve national accounts inside any territory without compensation to the local franchisee.
