Modern PURAIR provides a robust, multi-phase training program to prepare its franchisees for successful business operations. The training includes a mix of online learning, live virtual sessions, and hands-on field experience, all tailored to the franchise’s system. Here is a breakdown of the training programs offered:
Initial Training Program Modern PURAIR requires the Principal Executive and up to two others to attend a standard pre-opening training session. This is held at the franchisor’s headquarters, a designated Modern PURAIR location, or virtually, and consists of approximately 22 to 60 hours of training based on pacing and availability. Franchisees are responsible for their own travel, lodging, and meal costs.
Third-Party Training Franchisees may be required to attend training conducted by Franchisor-approved suppliers to gain instruction on delivering specific services. If mandated, the franchisee must pay an Additional Training Fee plus all related travel and attendance costs. Failure to attend may result in fees and does not cure a default caused by missing the session.
Post-Opening and Remedial Training The franchisor may require the franchisee or staff to participate in additional or remedial training at any time, in any format or location. This could include live or virtual instruction and is subject to additional training fees. The franchisor may also require the franchisee to train their staff using provided resources.
Territory Protection
Modern PURAIR offers franchisees a defined territory typically composed of contiguous zip codes with a population of around 250,000 people. While franchisees do not receive an exclusive territory, the franchisor agrees not to license another Modern PURAIR business within the designated territory during the term of the agreement.
This provides a form of operational protection as long as the franchisee remains in compliance with the franchise agreement.
However, Modern PURAIR retains the right to compete within the territory through other channels, such as the internet, and may allow sales or services to customers located in the territory if the franchisee defaults or cannot meet customer demand.
