Pvolve Franchise FDD, Costs & Fees (2025)

Pvolve is a fitness studio offering low-impact, high-intensity workouts designed to strengthen and tone muscles, focusing on functional movements and sustainable fitness practices.

Pvolve, short for "Personal Evolution," is a boutique fitness franchise founded in 2017 by Rachel Katzman in New York City. The brand emerged from Katzman's personal journey to find a sustainable workout method that alleviated her scoliosis symptoms and aligned with her holistic wellness goals.

Headquartered in New York, Pvolve began franchising in 2021 and has rapidly expanded across the U.S. and Canada. Pvolve offers a science-backed fitness method that combines low-impact functional movements with patented resistance equipment, such as the p.ball and p.band.

This approach targets underused muscle groups to build strength, improve mobility, and enhance posture while minimizing joint strain.

In 2023, actress Jennifer Aniston partnered with Pvolve after experiencing the method’s benefits firsthand. Her endorsement significantly boosted the brand’s visibility and credibility. Pvolve’s hybrid model offers both in-studio classes and a strong digital platform, providing members with flexible workout options.

Training

Pvolve provides a multi-faceted training program to ensure franchisees and their staff are properly prepared to operate a studio. The training programs include both operational and instructional components, each designed to meet the brand’s high standards:

  1. Initial Training
Pvolve delivers Initial Training for the Operating Principal, Key Manager, and Lead Trainer, covering systems, policies, and procedures. This training is included in the Franchise Fee for up to four representatives, provided they attend the same session. Training may be delivered in-person or through online modules, and additional trainees are charged a fee.
  2. Instructor Training
Up to five representatives may participate in Instructor Training before the studio opens. This ensures the training team can conduct classes in alignment with Pvolve's fitness methodology. Travel and living expenses for this training are not included and must be covered by the franchisee.
  3. Remedial Training
If the franchisee fails to meet Pvolve’s operational or service standards, remedial training may be mandated. This can involve sending staff to headquarters or having Pvolve representatives conduct on-site training, both of which may incur additional costs.
  4. Additional and Optional Training Programs
Pvolve may periodically offer or require franchisees and their staff to participate in supplemental training sessions. These can be conducted at Pvolve's office or through virtual channels and may involve additional fees.

Territory Protection

Pvolve offers its franchisees a protected territory encompassing approximately 50,000 people. This exclusivity ensures that no other Pvolve studio will operate within the designated area, safeguarding the franchisee's market share and potential customer base.

Such territorial protection is detailed in Item 12 of Pvolve's Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD), providing legal assurance to franchise owners regarding their operational domain.

Beyond physical studio operations, Pvolve extends this territorial exclusivity to digital memberships. Franchisees benefit from revenue generated by online memberships within their protected area, integrating both in-studio and virtual fitness experiences.
