Pure Fitness provides comprehensive training to ensure franchisees and key staff are fully prepared to operate their clubs. Here are the main programs:

1. Initial Training Program: This program must be completed by the Key Owner, Operations Manager, and designated Gym Managers before opening each club. It includes classroom instruction and on-the-job training, conducted mainly at Pure Fitness's headquarters in Springfield, Virginia, with some sessions optionally held in the UK or online.
2. Training Content and Materials: The program covers a broad range of topics including business history, brand and culture, and operational protocols. Training materials consist of manuals, PowerPoint slides, online learning modules, printed documents, and hands-on experience.
3. Annual Refresher Courses: Pure Fitness offers refresher courses typically once per year. These are designed to keep franchisees and their managers updated on best practices and new operational developments.

Territory Protection

Pure Fitness does not guarantee exclusive territory protection to its franchisees. Although the franchise agreement might outline an approved location and certain operating standards, it does not explicitly grant a protected or exclusive geographic territory. Franchisees should not assume they will be the only Pure Fitness operator in a particular region.

The franchise disclosure materials indicate that while franchisees must comply with designated formats and standards, the franchisor retains the right to open additional locations or authorize others within proximity to existing franchises. This structure allows Pure Fitness to expand based on market demand without territorial constraints.
