Fitness Premier Franchise FDD, Costs & Fees (2025)

Fitness Premier provides a full-service gym experience with a focus on personal training, group fitness classes, and state-of-the-art equipment to support members' fitness journeys.

Fitness Premier 24/7 Clubs is a dynamic fitness franchise dedicated to delivering personalized, community-focused health solutions. Established in 2002 in Frankfort, Illinois, the company is now headquartered in Manhattan, Illinois.

Since launching its franchising program in January 2017, Fitness Premier has expanded across the Midwest and Southeast, focusing on underserved towns with populations between 10,000 and 30,000.

The franchise offers a comprehensive suite of fitness services, including 24/7 gym access, group fitness classes, personal training, nutritional coaching, and relaxation amenities.

What sets Fitness Premier apart is its hybrid concept that blends the personalized atmosphere of boutique studios with the scale and affordability of traditional gyms. This model allows the brand to effectively serve smaller communities often ignored by larger fitness chains.

Training

Fitness Premier provides a detailed training structure to support franchisees in launching and operating their clubs effectively. The training is divided into pre-opening and post-opening programs, each targeting specific stages of the franchise setup.

  1. Initial Training Program: At least 90 days before opening, the franchisee or their managing owner and one management-level employee must attend and complete a one-week initial training session. This training takes place in Frankfort, Illinois, or another location designated by the franchisor, and includes both theoretical and practical instruction on operating a Fitness Premier club.
  2. Operations Manual Access: Franchisees receive a 68-page Operations Manual that covers key aspects of establishing, marketing, and operating the business. The franchisor reserves the right to update the manual and requires franchisees to adhere strictly to its guidelines.
  3. Supplemental On-Site Training: After the club opens, the franchisor may require additional on-site training. This training costs $500 per trainer per day, plus travel and accommodation expenses, and is aimed at refining club operations and ensuring continued compliance with system standards.

Territory Protection

Fitness Premier provides its franchisees with a defined area of territorial protection known as the “Designated Territory.” Once a franchisee selects a Club Location that is approved by the franchisor, they are granted rights to operate within a territory generally limited to either a 2.5-mile radius from the Club Location or an area with a population of up to 50,000 people.

In special cases, like clubs located within shopping malls, the Designated Territory may be adjusted based on the unique characteristics of the location.

This territorial protection means that Fitness Premier will not permit another franchised or company-owned club to be established within the same Designated Territory, as long as the franchisee complies with the terms of the Franchise Agreement.
