Training

Los Campeones provides comprehensive training programs to support its franchisees in successfully launching and operating their fitness businesses. The training offered by the franchisor includes several structured components:

  1. Initial Training Program: This is mandatory for the Operating Principal and at least one general manager. It covers key operational aspects such as the use of the Operations Manual, in-gym sales and operations, management practices, cleaning/maintenance procedures, and comprehension debriefing. The training combines classroom instruction and on-the-job practice, taking place primarily in Minneapolis, MN or another designated location. The total instruction includes 6-8 hours of classroom training and 36 hours of on-the-job training.
  2. Supplemental and Refresher Training: The franchisor may require attendance at additional training sessions, up to 3 days per year. These are meant to reinforce and update operational knowledge and skills.
  3. Operations Manual Access: Franchisees receive access to a detailed Operations Manual that includes ongoing updates and serves as a core resource for operational guidance.

Territory Protection

Los Campeones provides its franchisees with a “Protected Territory” as part of the Franchise Agreement. This territory typically spans a five-mile radius around the franchise location, although it may be adjusted depending on population density.

As long as the franchisee remains in compliance with the agreement, no other franchised or company-owned Los Campeones businesses will be established within this area during the agreement's term. The protection is formalized in Exhibit A of the Franchise Agreement once a business site is approved.

This protected status does not depend on the franchisee meeting specific sales targets or other performance metrics. However, the franchisor retains the right to operate or authorize operations outside of this defined territory and to distribute products under different marks or through non-franchise channels.
