Established in 1983, Los Campeones is a fitness franchise that was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Over the decades, it has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality gym facilities while nurturing a welcoming, community-focused environment.
Headquartered in Minneapolis to this day, Los Campeones maintains close ties to its roots and the local fitness culture that helped shape its brand.
In 2015, Los Campeones took a major step forward by launching its franchising program, aiming to extend its distinct fitness approach to new communities. The franchise provides an extensive selection of services, including cutting-edge workout equipment, personalized training sessions, and group classes suited for all fitness levels.
What truly distinguishes Los Campeones is its dedication to fostering an inclusive, motivating environment, making it a destination for beginners and seasoned athletes alike.
Here's what you would need to invest if you were to start this franchise. These costs are provided by the franchisor in the Franchise Disclosure Document.
Los Campeones provides comprehensive training programs to support its franchisees in successfully launching and operating their fitness businesses. The training offered by the franchisor includes several structured components:
Los Campeones provides its franchisees with a “Protected Territory” as part of the Franchise Agreement. This territory typically spans a five-mile radius around the franchise location, although it may be adjusted depending on population density.
As long as the franchisee remains in compliance with the agreement, no other franchised or company-owned Los Campeones businesses will be established within this area during the agreement's term. The protection is formalized in Exhibit A of the Franchise Agreement once a business site is approved.
This protected status does not depend on the franchisee meeting specific sales targets or other performance metrics. However, the franchisor retains the right to operate or authorize operations outside of this defined territory and to distribute products under different marks or through non-franchise channels.
