Training

Labor Finders provides a structured initial training program to ensure franchisees are prepared to operate their business effectively. The training is offered at their main office in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, or another acceptable location, and includes both classroom and on-the-job instruction. Here are the training components:

  1. Initial Training Program: This includes 30-44 hours of classroom instruction and 28-36 hours of on-the-job training. Topics covered are Sales, Marketing, Operations, Information Systems, Corporate Administration, and Risk Management.
  2. Operations Manual: Franchisees receive a loaned copy of the copyrighted Operations Manual, which includes mandatory and recommended procedures and standards.
  3. Set-Up Package: After completing initial training or signing the agreement, franchisees are provided with materials like master artwork for advertising and forms.
  4. Software Training: Labor Finders also licenses proprietary software and provides manuals and internet access to hosted systems essential for daily operations.

Territory Protection

Labor Finders provides franchisees with a defined exclusive territory, typically consisting of one or more contiguous counties. As long as the franchisee is in good standing and not in default, the franchisor agrees not to establish or authorize other offices—including those by its subsidiary LF Staffing—within this territory.

Franchisees must notify the franchisor about office locations but are not required to obtain approval for them.

This territorial protection, however, is tied to performance metrics known as Penetration Goals. If a franchisee fails to meet these goals, Labor Finders may reduce the territory to a smaller area around existing active offices—20 miles if the population is under 5 million, or 10 miles if over.
