The brand began developing proprietary tile and grout restoration processes immediately upon its founding and launched its official franchise program shortly thereafter to meet growing demand for professional services.
Groutsmith offers comprehensive services including expert cleaning, repair, sealing, and restoration of tile and grout surfaces in both residential and commercial settings.
Franchisees use the company’s trademarked processes and a proprietary line of cleaning products designed to restore flooring faster and more affordably than conventional methods.
Here's what you would need to invest if you were to start this franchise. These costs are provided by the franchisor in the Franchise Disclosure Document.

Groutsmith Franchising provides an extensive training program to ensure new franchisees are well-prepared to operate their business. The following numbered programs summarize the training offerings:
Groutsmith Franchising provides its franchisees with an exclusive territory, typically defined by a target of 125,000 owner-occupied households. This territory is outlined in the franchise agreement and supported by a designated map, and franchisees are authorized to offer and perform services only within this area.
While the franchisor retains the right to operate or license other franchises outside the assigned territory, it will not place another franchise or company-owned location within the franchisee's designated area as long as the franchisee remains in compliance.
Territory protection does come with exceptions. Franchisees are restricted from soliciting or advertising outside of their territory, but they may service customers in other areas if those customers are referrals from acquaintances or personal connections.
