CORE Group Restoration franchise offers a structured training program designed to prepare franchisees for business operations. Here’s an outline of the training provided by the franchisor:

  1. Onboarding Program: This includes up to 48 hours of classroom training covering topics such as commercial job management, estimating, business strategy, marketing, and sales practices. The program is available via webinar or onsite and is highly encouraged for franchisees and their managers.
  2. Ongoing Training: The franchisor provides refresher and additional training courses periodically. Attendance is generally optional, except for mandatory annual conventions where at least one employee must attend, with associated fees and travel expenses covered by the franchisee.
  3. Remedial Training: If the franchisor determines that a franchisee is not operating in compliance with the agreement or brand standards, remedial training may be required. This can be conducted at the corporate headquarters or the franchisee’s location.
  4. Employee and Contractor Training: While the franchisor provides limited training on system standards to employees, it is the franchisee’s responsibility to train all personnel on day-to-day operations. The franchisor also provides access to a Brand Standards Manual to guide operational practices.

Territory Protection

CORE Group Restoration franchise grants each franchisee a defined territory where their business headquarters is located, and they are permitted to offer and sell services both within and outside this area.

While the franchisor agrees not to change or modify a franchisee’s territory during the initial term without consent, the agreement allows one Elite Franchisee and two Standard Franchisees per population of 5,000,000. For territories under 2,000,000 in population, no additional CORE businesses are established unless the population exceeds this limit.

However, the franchisor retains broad rights to operate and license other CORE businesses, engage in alternative distribution channels, and serve national accounts within any territory, including the franchisee’s.
