Spaulding Decon provides professional cleaning and restoration services for crime scenes, hoarding situations, and biohazardous environments, ensuring safe and thorough remediation.

Spaulding Decon is a premier franchise specializing in biohazard remediation and crime scene cleanup services. Founded in 2005 by former police officer Laura Spaulding in Tampa, Florida, the company was created to assist families during their most difficult moments.

Many of these services are covered by homeowners’ insurance, offering customers financial relief during emergencies. The franchise operates in both residential and commercial sectors, making it a recession-resistant business model with consistent demand.

  1. Initial Training Program: The franchisor offers an Initial Training Program lasting approximately two weeks, conducted at their headquarters in Tampa, Florida or virtually. It is free for the franchisee and one designated manager. Additional attendees are charged $1,500 per person. All travel-related expenses are borne by the franchisee. Completion of this program is mandatory within 45 days before commencing operations, and failure to do so can lead to termination of the franchise agreement.

Despite this, Spaulding Decon commits not to establish additional businesses using its proprietary marks within a franchisee's designated territory, provided the franchisee remains in compliance with their agreement.

However, the franchisor retains the right to market or distribute similar products or services through different trademarks or channels, including e-commerce and mail orders, within the same geographic area. Franchisees are also excluded from servicing national accounts unless specifically assigned by the franchisor.
