Body20 is a cutting-edge fitness studio franchise that focuses on delivering full-body workouts using electro-muscle stimulation (EMS) technology. Since its launch in 2017, the brand has been based in Austin, Texas, and has positioned itself as a leader in time-efficient training solutions.
That same year, Body20 began its franchising journey, with the mission of transforming the traditional fitness experience through advanced, results-oriented training methods.
At the heart of Body20’s concept is the integration of FDA-cleared EMS suits, designed to stimulate muscles at a level far beyond typical exercise routines—offering over 150 times more muscle contractions during a compact 20-minute session.
What truly sets Body20 apart is its fusion of personalized coaching and smart fitness technology, making it an ideal choice for those looking for maximum fitness outcomes in a fraction of the usual time.

The BODY20 Studio franchise provides several types of training programs to ensure that franchisees and their staff meet operational standards and brand expectations. These training programs include:
Initial Training Program: All individuals who sign the Franchise Agreement, including the Designated Manager, must attend and complete an initial training program. This program includes subjects such as general business training, sales training, and product training. The initial training is conducted by corporate staff and may be held at the franchisor’s headquarters or another designated location. The franchisee bears all associated expenses such as lodging and transportation.
Trainer Program: Trainers responsible for working directly with clients must complete a specific Trainer Program, which includes EMS (Electro Muscle Stimulation) training. Only certified trainers are permitted to deliver client sessions at BODY20 Studios.
Coaching Certification: Each coach must fulfill certification requirements, including payment of a Coaching Certification Fee. This ensures that every coach maintains the high standards required by BODY20.
Territory Protection
BODY20 grants franchisees a defined but non-exclusive territory where it agrees not to open or license another studio, as long as the franchisee meets all obligations. This protection is tied to performance—franchisees must meet minimum annual sales targets to maintain it. If these targets aren’t met, BODY20 may reduce or revoke territorial rights.
Territorial protection ends once a studio is opened in a Development Zone; from then on, only the new Franchise Agreement terms apply. BODY20 can still compete through online sales, other distribution methods, or by opening studios in private venues within the same area.
