Animal World is a family-entertainment franchise offering indoor playgrounds, electric animal rides, and children’s party venues. The brand was founded in 2016 and has grown by creating fun, safe, and engaging experiences for young children. The company is headquartered in Alpharetta, Georgia, where it continues to develop its play-center model.

Animal World began franchising in 2021 as demand grew for affordable, high-traffic children’s entertainment concepts. The franchise sells access to indoor play environments, soft-play structures, electric animal rides, and themed birthday-party packages. Its model appeals to families seeking clean, modern, climate-controlled spaces for kids to play year-round.

The franchise differentiates itself through its signature electric animal rides and customizable party experiences, which create a unique attraction compared to traditional playground centers.

Animal World also emphasizes a turnkey business model with low startup costs, remote-management capability, and strong training and operational support. This structure helps franchise owners operate efficiently while delivering a memorable experience for guests.

Training

The Animal World franchise provides a structured and practical training program to ensure franchisees are well-prepared to operate their venues. Here's an overview of the training programs offered by the franchisor:

  1. Initial Training Program
The franchisor conducts a two-day, on-site training program at the franchisee’s venue. This program includes 16 hours of on-the-job training for up to four people, covering key operational areas such as sales, customer service, safety, animal maintenance, and use of the point-of-sale system. The initial training fee is included in the franchise fee, but the franchisee must cover all travel, lodging, and wage expenses for attendees.
  2. Training Content and Materials
Training is delivered using materials like the Operations Manual, marketing guides, and systems training documentation. Subjects include six hours of customer service training, three hours of animal maintenance, and two hours of POS operation, among others. Adjustments to training content may be made based on the experience of the franchisee’s personnel.
  3. Mandatory Continuing Education
General Managers and venue staff must attend mandatory training sessions and seminars organized by the franchisor. While the training sessions themselves are provided at no charge, franchisees are responsible for all expenses related to participation.

Territory Protection

The Animal World franchise offers territory protection by assigning each franchisee an exclusive territory upon execution of the agreement. This territory is defined in Attachment A of the Franchise Agreement and is protected as long as the franchisee complies materially with the terms of the agreement.

Within this exclusive area, the franchisor will not establish or allow others to establish another Animal World venue during the term of the agreement. However, this exclusivity has important limitations.

While the franchisee is protected from direct competition via other Animal World venues within the territory, the franchisor retains the right to sell products under different trademarks or through alternative distribution channels, such as the internet, catalog sales, or grocery stores, even within the protected area.
