The franchise system is designed around standardized campground design, furnishings and décor, and operating procedures for delivering a consistent outdoor-hospitality experience.
Ferncrest was co-founded by Brian Linton and Joanna Linton, and an affiliated Ferncrest campground has operated in Promised Land, Pennsylvania since June 2023. The concept grew from a restoration project that turned a neglected campground into the Ferncrest model, and it was later formalized into a franchise offering through Ferncrest Franchising LLC and its affiliate Linton Hospitality LLC.
