Training

Complete Weddings + Events offers a structured training program to equip franchisees with the knowledge and skills necessary to operate their business effectively. The training programs include:

  1. Initial Training Program
This mandatory program lasts up to 11 days and combines classroom sessions and on-the-job training. It includes approximately 5 days at the corporate office in Omaha, Nebraska, and up to 6 days at the franchisee's location. Topics cover operations, equipment usage, customer service, marketing, and financial management.
  2. Training for Managers
Any operating manager must attend and successfully complete the initial training. If a manager is deemed unqualified, a substitute must be enrolled. The franchisor also provides training for new managers and may charge reasonable fees for these sessions.
  3. Supplemental and Refresher Training
The franchisor may require the franchisee, manager, or assistant managers to attend periodic supplemental or refresher training sessions throughout the franchise term. These are scheduled at the franchisor’s discretion and are subject to additional costs borne by the franchisee.

Territory Protection

Complete Weddings + Events offers franchisees a designated Protected Area, which is defined and granted upon signing the Franchise Agreement.

The size of this territory generally encompasses a population of at least 200,000 people, and while the franchisee complies with the agreement, the franchisor agrees not to authorize another Complete Weddings + Events business within that same area.

However, this exclusivity is conditional upon the franchisee meeting annual performance standards, including minimum gross receipts. Despite this initial protection, the franchisor does not grant an exclusive territory overall.
