Training
The X-Golf franchise provides the following training programs to franchisees:
- Pre-Opening Training
X-Golf offers a standard pre-opening training program to the Principal Executive and up to two other employees. This program is conducted at X-Golf’s headquarters or a designated X-Golf business. While the training itself is free, the franchisee bears all travel, lodging, and meal expenses. The length and content may vary based on attendees' experience and skills. - New Franchisee Training
The Principal Executive and the designated manager must complete a training program to X-Golf’s satisfaction at least four weeks before opening. This includes sales training by a third-party vendor, which is at the franchisee's expense. - Customized Sales Coaching Program
A specialized training program is provided through a third-party vendor, focusing on sales and revenue growth. This includes 24 weeks of one-hour weekly training calls, daily lesson videos, webinars, and customized coaching. This program costs $2,500 and starts before the business opens. - General Manager Training
The franchise requires employing a full-time general manager who has completed the training program. Training a new general manager costs $3,500. - Post-Opening Training
X-Golf may mandate additional training programs for the Principal Executive or employees at any location, format, or time. Franchisees may also be required to train their employees as per X-Golf's directives, bearing related travel and other expenses.
Territory Protection
X-Golf grants franchisees exclusive territory protection, typically within a 7-mile radius or areas with at least 100,000 people. Within this zone, no other company-owned or franchised outlets are established offering similar services.
However, X-Golf may sell within the territory via online or direct marketing without compensating the franchisee. This exclusivity is not contingent on sales or market performance, ensuring consistent protection.
