Training

With A Twist offers a structured and multi-level training program to ensure its franchisees are well-prepared to operate their businesses.

  1. Initial Training Program: The franchise requires the franchisee (if an individual), the principal owner, and the designated Principal Manager to attend and successfully complete a 50-hour initial training program, which includes online Learning Management Training. This training may be conducted virtually or at the franchisor’s headquarters, and it covers all operational aspects necessary for launching the business.
  2. Manager and District Manager Training: If the franchisee hires a new Principal Manager or District Manager during the term of the agreement, those individuals must also complete the initial training. Tuition fees may apply for these additional participants, and the training is subject to space availability and scheduling.
  3. Continuing Education and Annual Meetings: The franchisor may offer ongoing seminars, webinars, conventions, and retreats. Attendance at certain events is mandatory, such as the annual national convention, and helps ensure franchisees and their managers stay updated on operational improvements and industry trends.

Territory Protection

With A Twist provides its franchisees with a defined “Protected Territory,” granting them the right to operate exclusively within a specified geographic area. This territory is typically identified by zip codes or county lines and generally encompasses a population of 1,000,000 people or fewer.

While the franchisor agrees not to open another With A Twist franchise within this designated area, franchisees are not granted an exclusive territory in the broader sense and may still face competition from other franchisees or company-owned outlets under special conditions.

Franchisees are restricted to marketing and operating within their assigned territory and must adhere to the franchisor’s policies on territorial advertising and service delivery. Under certain exceptions, such as unsolicited client requests or prior client relationships, services may be provided outside the designated area.
