Training

Sculpture Hospitality provides a comprehensive, three-phase training program to ensure franchisees are well-equipped to run their businesses. Each phase covers specific areas of operations, and training is required to be completed within designated timeframes. Below are the numbered programs:

  1. Phase 1: Online Training (Virtual Learning)
This phase includes four self-paced pathways consisting of 15 online courses delivered via Sculpture's Learning Management System. It introduces the franchise system, industry vocabulary, auditing basics, and operational metrics. It may include live or recorded video sessions and concludes with a practical application.
  2. Phase 2: Field Training (Technical Operations)
Conducted by a Regional Director or approved trainer, this phase covers hands-on technical training to prepare franchisees for operational independence. It is designed to provide sufficient knowledge to begin running the business effectively.
  3. Phase 3: Business Operations and Policy
This includes in-depth training on business operations, product and service offerings, marketing strategies, retention, and staffing. Delivered by a Global Office-approved trainer, this phase typically follows Phases 1 and 2.

Territory Protection

Sculpture Hospitality provides its franchisees with an exclusive, protected territory, categorized into three sizes—Territory A, B, or C—based on the number of establishments with liquor licenses. The franchisor agrees not to establish additional franchised or company-owned units within the assigned area, as long as the franchisee complies with the franchise agreement.

This ensures operational security and market stability for the franchisee within their designated territory. However, Sculpture Hospitality retains broad rights that limit the exclusivity. The franchisor may grant rights to third parties or operate businesses inside or outside the franchisee’s territory that provide similar or dissimilar services.

Additionally, national account programs and acquisitions of competing businesses are permissible within a franchisee’s area without compensation, reducing the franchisee's ability to claim complete territorial control.
