Training

Valenta provides a comprehensive training structure to its franchisees, ensuring they are well-prepared to manage their business. Here’s a summary of the training programs offered:

  1. Initial Training Program: Before launching operations, the Managing Owner and a designated manager must complete the Initial Training Program. This program can include classroom instruction, on-the-job training, and potentially online modules, structured in phases to cover all aspects of business operations.
  2. Refresher and System-Wide Training: Franchisees, including their Managing Owner and Manager, are required to attend periodic refresher courses and system-wide training as designated by Valenta. These sessions ensure that franchisees stay current with evolving operational standards and best practices.
  3. Supplemental Training: Upon request and approval, Valenta may provide additional training at the franchisee’s office, within their territory, or online. This training is intended to address specific needs or gaps and comes with a supplemental training fee.
  4. Replacement Manager Training: If a new Operating Manager is appointed, they must complete the Initial Training Program to meet Valenta’s operational standards. This requirement ensures continuity and consistency in the management of the franchise.

Territory Protection

Valenta grants its franchisees a defined operating territory at the time of signing the Franchise Agreement. This territory typically consists of a geographic area designed to include at least 2,000 businesses with a minimum of 10 employees, known as Qualified Businesses.

The boundaries and specifics of the territory are based on local factors and market conditions to ensure viable business opportunities.

While Valenta provides a protected territory, it retains the right to add additional franchisees if the territory has a high density of Qualified Businesses. For instance, if an area exceeds 2,000 Qualified Businesses, Valenta may introduce another franchisee at a ratio of one franchisee per 2,000 businesses.
