Success On The Spectrum Franchise FDD, Costs & Fees (2025)

Success On The Spectrum is an ABA therapy franchise that provides autism therapy services, helping children develop social, behavioral, and communication skills.

Founded in 2015 in Houston, Texas, by Nichole Daher, Success On The Spectrum (SOS) emerged from a mother’s determination to create a better developmental path for her daughter.

Recognizing a significant gap in quality autism therapy services, Daher launched SOS to offer comprehensive, child-centered care for individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

By 2018, SOS became the first autism treatment franchise in the United States, expanding its innovative model to multiple locations across the country.

Headquartered in Houston, Texas, Success On The Spectrum provides a wide range of therapeutic services including Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), speech therapy, occupational therapy, and structured social skills programs.

These services are designed for children up to 18 years old and are customized to support each child’s developmental needs, aiming to foster growth, independence, and improved quality of life.

Training

Success On The Spectrum provides a comprehensive range of training programs to ensure franchisees and their staff are properly equipped to operate within the brand’s standards. The types of training provided by the Franchisor include:

  1. Initial Training Program
This mandatory program must be completed by the Franchisee’s Required Center Personnel within 45 days prior to the business commencement. It includes classroom and on-the-job instruction at a designated location or remotely via online conferencing. Three key employees (one operating manager, one office manager, and one certified behavior analyst) receive this training at no cost for lodging, while other costs are borne by the Franchisee. Additional trainees incur a fee of $250 per person, per day.
  2. Refresher and System-Wide Training Courses
The Franchisor periodically requires the Franchisee and its personnel to attend additional training sessions to stay updated with the system’s standards. These can include refresher courses or broader system-wide programs, for which the Franchisee covers all related expenses.
  3. Supplemental Training
This is provided on an as-needed basis, either at the Franchisee’s location or remotely. It may be required for new or underperforming personnel. Fees include $250 per trainer per day for onsite sessions and $250 per attendee per day for sessions held elsewhere, plus travel and accommodation reimbursements.

Territory Protection

Success On The Spectrum does not offer exclusive territory protection. Franchisees may face competition from other franchisees, company-owned outlets, or sales through online and direct marketing within their designated territory. The Franchisor retains the right to sell services and products in any area, including within a franchisee's territory.

Although a designated territory is assigned, the Franchisor can approve others to operate in or sell to that area. Franchisees are not compensated if others serve clients in their territory, and there are no restrictions preventing such activities.
