Training

Steri-Clean franchise provides a comprehensive training program to prepare franchisees and their teams for effective operation. Here’s a breakdown of the training offered by the franchisor:

  1. Initial Training Program: This must be completed before the franchisee begins operations. It covers essential subjects such as an overview of services, hiring, human resources, and office procedures, with a mix of classroom and on-the-job instruction. Attendance is mandatory for the franchisee and key management, with no tuition fee, though participants cover their own travel and living expenses.
  2. Ongoing Training and Annual Meetings: Franchisees’ designated principals and managers are required to attend periodic additional training and special programs as scheduled by the franchisor. These sessions aim to ensure franchisees stay updated with operational standards and industry developments.
  3. Supplemental and Refresher Training: The franchisor may periodically offer or require refresher courses or supplemental training to address specific operational needs. Attendance at these programs ensures continued compliance and adaptation to any changes in the business system.

Territory Protection

Steri-Clean franchise provides franchisees with a defined territory where they are granted the right to operate their business. Within this territory, the franchisor agrees not to authorize another franchisee, company-owned business, or affiliate to operate a competing business.

However, the franchisor retains the right to manage national accounts and allow service outside of a franchisee’s territory under certain conditions. While franchisees can seek permission to work outside their territory, any such approval comes with strict terms.

If a new franchise is later awarded in the previously served area, the existing franchisee must cease operations there, transfer all clients and leads to the new franchisee, and stop all advertising.
