Training

The Heaven's Best franchise provides several types of training programs to ensure franchisees and their managers are prepared for business operations. These training programs are detailed and structured as follows:

  1. Initial Training Program: This is mandatory and must be completed within 180 days of signing the Franchise Agreement. It includes approximately five days of training at the company’s headquarters in Rexburg, Idaho. The program covers financial controls, marketing techniques, service methods, labor deployment, and quality standards maintenance. Expenses like travel, airfare, rental car, meals, and wages are the responsibility of the franchisee, although the franchisor covers reasonable lodging costs.
  2. Classroom and On-the-Job Training Modules: The curriculum includes specific subject modules such as:
    • Introduction (1 hour)
    • Chemicals, Products, and Equipment (2 hours)
    • Carpet and Fabric Identification/Construction (4 hours)
    • Operational Procedures; Cleaning and Repairs (14 hours)
    • Business Management; Bookkeeping and Reporting; Insurance (2 hours)
    • Sales and Marketing, including Website training (7 hours)
  3. Additional Training: Upon request and with 30 days’ notice, franchisees may attend extra training sessions either at the headquarters or agreed locations. This may involve hands-on experience and observation at franchise locations. All related expenses must be covered by the franchisee.

Territory Protection

Heaven’s Best grants franchisees a designated Franchise Territory, typically encompassing a population between 150,000 to 200,000. While the territory is not exclusive, it is protected specifically for residential and commercial carpet, flooring, and upholstery cleaning services.

As long as the franchisee is in compliance with the agreement, the franchisor agrees not to establish or authorize another Heaven’s Best location within that territory without the franchisee's permission.

Despite this protection, the franchisee may still face competition from other franchisees, company-owned outlets, or different brands under the franchisor's control. The franchisee is not allowed to operate outside the assigned territory without written approval.
