Signal Health Group is a franchise specializing in comprehensive healthcare services, covering both medical and non-medical care. Its offerings include personal assistance, skilled nursing, wellness programs, mental health support, and hospice care, designed to improve quality of life for clients at home.

Established in 2014, the company was created to address the rising need for premium home health services. Based in Las Vegas, Nevada, Signal Health Group has earned a reputation for delivering personalized care that promotes independence and overall well-being for those it serves.

Franchising opportunities began in 2018, enabling business owners to bring essential health services to their local communities. The brand’s model features two distinct revenue streams, allowing franchise partners to adapt their services to local market needs.

A key differentiator for Signal Health Group is its exclusive, invitation-only franchise approach, ensuring that only highly qualified candidates are granted the chance to join the system.

Training

Signal Health Group franchise offers a detailed training program to prepare franchisees for successful operations. Here’s a summary of the training provided by the franchisor:

  1. Initial Training Program: This mandatory program must be completed within 12 weeks of signing the franchise agreement. It spans 5–6 days for Non-Medical Franchises or 6–7 days for Medical Franchises, conducted at the corporate office in Las Vegas or another designated location, covering all essential aspects of running the business.
  2. Pre-Opening Training: The Principal Executive and one additional employee can attend this training at no extra cost, with content tailored based on each attendee’s experience and skill level. Franchisees are responsible for travel, lodging, and other personal expenses.
  3. Post-Opening Training: The franchisor may require the Principal Executive and other employees to complete additional training programs at any time, at locations and formats determined by the franchisor. Reasonable fees may apply, and franchisees are also responsible for related travel and living expenses.

Territory Protection

Signal Health Group franchise assigns franchisees a defined territory, which is noted in the Franchise Agreement. While this territory is protected in certain ways, it is not exclusive. Franchisees may face competition from other franchisees, company-owned outlets, and alternative distribution channels operated by the franchisor.

For Medical Services hospice franchises, the franchisor agrees not to establish another hospice service franchise within the same territory.

However, they retain the right to establish other types of services, such as home health or non-medical services, even within an existing franchisee’s territory. Additionally, franchisees are not allowed to solicit or serve customers outside their territory without prior written consent from the franchisor, and any breaches may result in penalties.
