  1. Initial Training Program: This mandatory program must be completed within 12 weeks of signing the franchise agreement. It spans 5–6 days for Non-Medical Franchises or 6–7 days for Medical Franchises, conducted at the corporate office in Las Vegas or another designated location, covering all essential aspects of running the business.
  2. Pre-Opening Training: The Principal Executive and one additional employee can attend this training at no extra cost, with content tailored based on each attendee’s experience and skill level. Franchisees are responsible for travel, lodging, and other personal expenses.
  3. Post-Opening Training: The franchisor may require the Principal Executive and other employees to complete additional training programs at any time, at locations and formats determined by the franchisor. Reasonable fees may apply, and franchisees are also responsible for related travel and living expenses.

Territory Protection

Signal Health Group franchise assigns franchisees a defined territory, which is noted in the Franchise Agreement. While this territory is protected in certain ways, it is not exclusive. Franchisees may face competition from other franchisees, company-owned outlets, and alternative distribution channels operated by the franchisor.

For Medical Services hospice franchises, the franchisor agrees not to establish another hospice service franchise within the same territory.
