Training

Butterfly Home Care provides a structured training program to ensure franchisees operate effectively within the system. The training is detailed and spans multiple formats and requirements. Below are the numbered training programs:

  1. Initial Training Program
    This is a mandatory, tuition-free program for the franchisee or operating principal, typically held at Butterfly’s headquarters or another designated facility. It may also be delivered remotely and covers the foundational aspects of running the franchised business. Completion is required before operations can begin.
  2. Training Pre-Conditions
    Before attending the Initial Training Program, franchisees must fulfill several preconditions, including obtaining required insurance, establishing an EFT account, getting approval for the initial marketing plan and spend, and submitting executed contracts. These ensure readiness and compliance ahead of formal training.
  3. Additional Owner/Staff Training
    The Initial Training Program is also available to additional owners or personnel, provided they attend before opening and the franchisee pays the current training fee. This allows broader team preparedness without delaying business launch.
  4. Replacement Personnel Training
    If a trainee fails to complete training or if there is staff turnover, the franchisor will provide the Initial Training Program to replacements, again contingent on the franchisee covering the training fee and associated expenses.
  5. Refresher and Additional Training
    Franchisees and their teams may be required to attend up to five days of refresher or additional training annually. These sessions may occur at Butterfly’s headquarters or other locations and are aimed at reinforcing compliance and operational excellence.

Territory Protection

Butterfly Home Care offers franchisees a Designated Territory once they have secured an approved premises. Within this territory, the franchisor agrees not to open or license another Agency using its system and trademarks.
