Training

Sammy’s Sliders provides a structured training program to ensure franchisees are prepared to successfully operate their restaurant.

  1. Initial Training Program
    The initial training includes instruction for the franchisee owner and/or the Operations Manager. The franchisor may charge fees for any retraining, remedial instruction, or training required to resolve compliance issues. This program ensures that key personnel are fully versed in the restaurant's systems and operational standards.
  2. On-Site and Additional Training
    Sammy’s Sliders may provide additional on-site training, either at the franchise location or another designated site. This can include support during the restaurant’s opening or as requested by the franchisee. Fees apply for each trainer per day, plus any overtime or related travel expenses.
  3. Remedial and Replacement Training
    If the franchisor determines that a franchisee is in default of the franchise agreement, remedial training may be required. Similarly, if key staff are replaced, the franchisor may mandate that new personnel undergo the applicable training. All such training ensures consistent brand representation and adherence to operational standards.

Territory Protection

Sammy’s Sliders grants franchisees a territory, but it is not exclusive. The franchisor retains the right to operate or license others to operate businesses under different names or systems near a franchisee’s location.

There is no guarantee that another Sammy’s Sliders restaurant won’t be opened in proximity, nor is there protection from other competing franchise brands owned by the same parent company.

While the franchisor provides support and tools for local market development, this does not equate to formal territorial protection. Franchisees may find themselves competing with other locations if market demand justifies expansion.
