iniBurger provides a comprehensive training program to equip franchisees with the skills necessary for successful operation of their franchise.
Initial Training Program: Franchisees, including all principals and one general manager, must complete a 14-day initial training program conducted at iniBurger’s headquarters or another designated location. There is no charge for up to two principals and one general manager, though the franchisee must cover expenses such as travel, lodging, and meals. Satisfactory completion of this program is required prior to opening, and failure to do so may result in termination of the agreement.
Opening Assistance: At launch, iniBurger provides up to five days of on-site training, supervision, and assistance at no charge. A trained representative from the franchisor is present to ensure a smooth opening and help implement operational procedures. This support includes guidance on employee training, marketing, and system setup.
Ongoing and Additional Training: Franchisees must attend up to five days of mandatory ongoing training each year and may be required to participate in national meetings or conventions. These sessions are held at locations designated by the franchisor, and attendance is mandatory to maintain the franchise in good standing. Franchisees are responsible for related costs, including travel and tuition, and failure to attend may lead to default under the agreement.
Territory Protection
iniBurger provides franchisees with a “Protected Territory” where no other iniBurger outlet will be opened, as long as the franchisee complies with the agreement. This territory is not exclusive but does offer limited protection against internal competition.
The franchisor may still sell within the territory through online platforms, remote kitchens, or retail and captive venues. Franchisees are not compensated for these sales and cannot market or fulfill orders outside their territory without approval.
