RestoPros Franchise FDD, Costs & Fees (2025)

RestoPros is a disaster restoration franchise providing water, fire, mold, and storm damage restoration services for residential and commercial properties.

RestoPros is a fast-growing franchise specializing in disaster restoration services, including water, fire, smoke, mold, and storm damage remediation. The company was founded in 2017 by Alex Blair in North Carolina, starting from humble beginnings with just a trailer, a few fans, and dehumidifiers.

Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, RestoPros began franchising in 2021 and has since rapidly expanded, boasting over 80 franchise units across 23 states and more than 200 territories awarded.

What sets RestoPros apart is its innovative, technology-forward model that focuses on building direct relationships within the community. Instead of relying solely on insurance company referrals, RestoPros partners with local plumbers, property managers, and contractors—often the first to be contacted during an emergency.

RestoPros offers a comprehensive suite of services including water extraction, structural drying, mold removal, fire and smoke damage repair, and storm cleanup. The brand even addresses complex situations like raw sewage spills and hoarding remediation.

Territory Protection

RestoPros provides its franchisees with limited territory protection. During the term of the agreement, and as long as the franchisee is compliant, RestoPros will not establish another franchise or promote competing services within the assigned territory. This territory is defined by the franchisor at its sole discretion and is tied to a specific geographic area.

However, the protection does not extend to all business activities. RestoPros reserves the right to market and sell services under its own or other trademarks through various distribution channels, including online platforms and co-branded ventures. Franchisees are not entitled to compensation for any sales made through these alternate channels within their territory.

Franchisees are also restricted from marketing or selling services outside of their designated area without prior written approval. This ensures that each franchisee remains focused on their assigned region while the franchisor retains flexibility in broader market strategies.
