Training

Plumbing Paramedics offers a structured training program to prepare franchisees for successful operation. The training provided by the franchisor includes the following key components:

1. Initial Training Program: The franchise mandates that the principal owner and up to two additional people must attend and successfully complete an Initial Training Program within 90 days of signing the Franchise Agreement. This training is free for the first three attendees, with a fee of $500 per day for any additional participants. The program spans approximately 60 hours, typically delivered over 5-7 business days. It is conducted both virtually and in-person at the founder's franchise location in Noblesville, Indiana, or another site designated by the franchisor.
2. Operations Manual: Franchisees are provided with a loaned copy of the Operations Manual, which contains 177 pages of mandatory and suggested specifications, standards, and procedures. This manual is periodically updated by the franchisor and serves as a crucial guide for running the franchise.
3. Post-Opening Assistance: After opening, the franchisor continues to support franchisees with access to required software for job costing, invoicing, and inventory management. They also offer guidance on equipment, inventory, office setup, marketing, and management practices. This includes accounting standards, monthly profit & loss tracking, and website hosting tools.
4. Ongoing Operational Support: Franchisees receive ongoing operating assistance at the franchisor’s discretion. This support includes updating standards, negotiating vendor arrangements, and providing operational advice to maintain alignment with brand expectations.

Plumbing Paramedics provides its franchisees with a defined territory in which they have certain operational protections. While the Franchise Agreement outlines specific terms, it ensures that each franchisee operates within a designated area, minimizing direct internal competition.

This geographic boundary is intended to offer a level of exclusivity, preventing the franchisor or other franchisees from establishing a new outlet within that same territory under normal circumstances.

However, the franchise does reserve some rights within the designated territory. These may include the ability to service national accounts or to offer services through digital platforms that can reach across territorial lines. Consequently, while Plumbing Paramedics offers territory protection, it is not absolute, and franchisees should review the agreement closely to understand the exceptions that might apply.
