Training

The Linc Service franchise provides a structured set of training programs to ensure that franchisees operate efficiently and consistently. Here’s an overview of the types of training offered by the Franchisor:

  1. Initial Training
Linc Service provides initial training at no tuition cost, typically held at their training facilities in Pittsburgh, PA or another designated location. A minimum of ten (10) instructor days of classroom training is provided for the franchisee’s General Manager. Additional training may be given to other personnel based on their roles.
  2. Linc University Training
Franchisees and their staff gain access to Linc University, which offers blended learning solutions. This includes instructor-led training, eLearning, and self-directed learning paths. The courses are tailored for various job titles within the Linc network and are delivered by experienced professionals.
  3. Refresher and Ongoing Training
Linc Service may conduct refresher courses and other forms of training at its discretion without a tuition fee. Franchisees are responsible for the cost of instructor rates, travel, and accommodations if training occurs at their location.

Territory Protection

Linc Service grants franchisees a form of territory protection through designated areas called a "Primary Marketing Area" or a "Shared Marketing Area." Within these areas, the franchisor agrees not to perform or authorize others to perform Linc Services, unless specific exceptions apply, such as the franchisee’s written consent or limited allowances for other franchisees.

However, the franchisor reserves broad rights to operate or license others outside these protected areas, and even to compete with franchisees under certain conditions. This limits the exclusivity, making the protection conditional rather than absolute.
