Training

NrGize provides a comprehensive training program for new franchisees to ensure successful operation of their business. The training is structured to cover essential aspects of running a NrGize Lifestyle Cafe and includes both in-store and classroom components. The training is mandatory for at least one owner and one other individual with ownership or management responsibilities.

  1. Initial Training Program: Comprises “In-Store Training” (approximately 16 hours) and “New Owner Training” (approximately 40 hours). These sessions may be delivered online or in-person, typically in Scottsdale, Arizona, or at another location selected by the franchisor.
  2. Opening Support: A NrGize representative will work with the franchisee on-site during opening week for up to three days to assist with operations and marketing at no additional charge.
  3. Ongoing and Additional Training: Franchisees must attend mandatory annual conferences and refresher training sessions, covering new products, marketing, operations, and more. These may carry registration fees, and franchisees are responsible for associated travel and accommodation costs.
  4. Employee Training: Although the franchisor does not directly train employees, franchisees must ensure their staff are adequately trained in NrGize procedures and are capable of interacting with customers in English and other necessary languages.

Territory Protection

NrGize does not offer any exclusive territory rights to its franchisees. The franchise is only granted for a specific approved location, and franchisees may face competition from other NrGize locations, company-owned units, or other brands and distribution channels under the same ownership.

Franchisees are not entitled to any territorial protection, options for additional franchises, or rights of first refusal. The franchisor retains the right to establish additional NrGize Lifestyle Cafes or similar concepts anywhere, including near existing franchisee locations, without compensating the franchisee or seeking their approval.

Franchisees are also restricted from using other channels such as the Internet or telemarketing to make sales outside the approved methods, although they may offer catering services more broadly.
