Training

Rush Bowls offers a thorough initial training program at no cost for up to two participants, provided they attend simultaneously. Additional participants are subject to a fee of $500 per person. Completion of this training program to the franchisor's standards is required before the restaurant opens. Franchisees are responsible for all travel expenses, salaries, and benefits for their attendees, with no compensation or reimbursement provided by the franchisor.

Ongoing Training

Franchisees, along with their Operating Principals (for entity-owned franchises), Designated Managers, and other employees, may be required to attend periodic system-wide refresher or additional training courses. These sessions can be optional or mandatory. If non-compliance or operational issues are identified during an inspection, the franchisee may be required to undergo remedial training at their own expense. Franchisees can also request additional training, which the franchisor may provide at its discretion, with all costs borne by the franchisee.

Grand Opening Assistance

For the grand opening of a franchisee's restaurant, Rush Bowls offers on-site support covered by a $6,000 Grand Opening Training Fee. This fee is payable after the agreement is signed and before the 14-day period leading up to the opening. The assistance includes up to five days of on-site support before and during the restaurant's opening, aimed at ensuring the franchisee operates according to the System's standards. Any additional support or visits requested by the franchisee or deemed necessary by the franchisor will incur extra charges.

Territory Protection

The franchisor provides territory protection for Rush Bowls franchises under specific conditions. If the Area Developer adheres to the terms of the Agreement, the Development Schedule, and each individual Franchise Agreement, Rush Bowls guarantees that it will not franchise, license, develop, own, lease, construct, or operate any other Rush Bowls franchises within the Development Territory during the term of the Agreement.

This territorial protection ensures that no competing Rush Bowls franchises will be established in the Development Territory, provided the Area Developer complies with the agreement terms.

Furthermore, the Development Territory is designated as an exclusive area for developing Rush Bowls restaurants throughout the term of the Area Development Agreement.
