Nature's Table offers fresh and healthy menu options, including salads, wraps, sandwiches, and smoothies, made with locally sourced ingredients and organic produce whenever possible.

Nature's Table is a fast-casual café franchise that was founded in 1977 in Altamonte Springs, Florida. It began with a mission to offer healthier food options in high-traffic areas such as malls and office complexes. The brand rebranded to Nature’s Table by the time it opened its second location in 1983.

The company started franchising in 1987 and opened its first franchise location in 1987. Today, Nature’s Table operates across multiple U.S. states in diverse venues, including airports, hospitals, universities, and corporate offices. It continues to expand its footprint while maintaining its focus on quality and convenience.

Headquartered in Orlando, Florida, Nature’s Table franchise system is designed for both experienced food operators and new entrepreneurs.

Nature’s Table stands out for its fresh, health-focused menu featuring wraps, salads, protein bowls, smoothies, paninis, soups, and acai bowls. The brand emphasizes customization and speed, appealing to health-conscious consumers seeking quick, nutritious meals in a clean, modern environment.

Training

Nature’s Table offers a detailed training program to equip franchisees and their teams with essential skills to run a successful restaurant. This training is a mix of classroom instruction and on-the-job experience conducted at both the corporate headquarters and operational restaurants. The training is mandatory and must be completed satisfactorily before opening.

  1. Initial Training Program
The program consists of orientation, store tours, and classroom sessions covering business essentials like food and labor costs, tax obligations, profit statements, and employee management. It includes 7 hours of classroom instruction and 70 hours of on-the-job training in menu prep, cashier operations, and general store procedures.
  2. Mandatory Participation
Franchisees, their General Manager, and up to two additional employees must attend and complete this training at least 60 days before the restaurant opens. The franchisor provides instructors and training materials at no cost, but all travel, lodging, and meal expenses are the franchisee’s responsibility.
  3. Additional and Refresher Training
The franchisor may require attendance at additional training or seminars during the franchise term. These can include system updates or operational improvements and may be conducted in-person or virtually.

Territory Protection

Nature’s Table grants franchisees a Designated Territory, typically a three-mile radius or specific non-traditional venue. Within this area, no other franchises will be placed during the agreement term, provided the franchisee remains in compliance.

However, the protection is limited. The franchisor may still sell through channels like the internet or catalogs within the territory, and franchisees cannot sell outside their assigned area without approval.
