Training

Jollibee provides a structured and comprehensive training program for its franchisees. The training includes an initial program mandatory for designated representatives, such as the Managing Owner and other trainees, to ensure proficiency in the operational aspects of running a Jollibee restaurant.

This initial training covers various modules, including production, service areas, shift management, and general management, totaling over 270 hours, combining classroom and on-the-job sessions. Training may be conducted at a designated facility or virtually, depending on scheduling and availability.

Franchisees are responsible for ensuring that their employees are adequately trained to meet Jollibee's operational standards. Additionally, the franchisor may provide periodic ongoing training and require attendance at meetings or conferences to address updates and maintain the quality of operations.

Trainees who fail to meet the program's requirements may necessitate additional training at an extra cost. This systematic approach underscores Jollibee's commitment to maintaining its operational excellence across its franchises.

Territory Protection

Jollibee provides limited territorial protection to franchisees within a specified Development Area, ensuring no other Jollibee restaurant will operate there during the agreement term if compliance is maintained. However, this protection is confined to the designated area.

Beyond the Development Area, Jollibee and its affiliates can open new locations or similar businesses, allowing broader market expansion. Franchisees should carefully review the agreement to understand the exact boundaries and limitations of territorial rights.
