GoJoe Patrol provides a structured and multi-tiered training program for its franchisees to ensure smooth operations and adherence to brand standards. The core training offerings include:
Pre-Opening Training: This includes up to five days of online, classroom, and on-the-job instruction at the franchisor’s headquarters or another designated site. It must be completed by the Operating Principal (and an owner if the Operating Principal is not one), especially for the first two franchised businesses. The training may be modified based on the participant’s prior experience.
Opening Training and Support: For the first or second business developed, the franchisor sends a representative to provide on-site training, opening assistance, and marketing support for up to five days, at no additional cost to the franchisee.
Train-the-Trainer Program: Franchisees are required to train their own personnel using materials provided by the franchisor. On-site support is available upon request and may incur per diem training fees and travel expenses.
Ongoing and Additional Training: Replacement Operating Principals must complete initial training within 60 days of appointment. Employees designated by the franchisor must attend additional programs as required, and attendance at periodic conventions and regional meetings is mandatory.
Territory Protection
GoJoe Patrol does not grant exclusive territory rights to its franchisees. Franchisees are given a designated territory where they may operate, but the franchisor reserves the right to operate or license other GoJoe Patrol businesses within and outside this territory.
Additionally, the franchisor may distribute services and products under the brand through various channels such as the internet, mail order, or wholesale, even within the franchisee’s area.
Franchisees must obtain prior written consent to offer services outside their designated territory and may not advertise or solicit customers beyond their boundaries without approval. If a franchisee is allowed to market in an unassigned area, they must relinquish customers to any new franchisee assigned that area.
