ecomaids provides franchisees with a well-rounded training program to ensure operational readiness and brand consistency. The key training programs include:
Initial Training Program: This six-day in-person training is conducted at ecomaids’ headquarters or a designated flagship location. It includes 21.5 hours of classroom instruction and covers topics like business overview, brand values, call center processes, and field methods.
Online Training Modules: Franchisees must complete at least 70% of an online training course before beginning the initial in-person program. These modules are delivered through a Learning Management System and support foundational business and operational knowledge.
Supplemental and Refresher Training: ecomaids may require franchisees and their supervisory staff to attend additional training at designated locations. These sessions are provided without a fee for instruction, but franchisees must cover travel and living expenses.
Territory Protection
ecomaids grants each franchisee a defined Territory containing at least 25,000 single-family residences, within which the franchisee is expected to operate exclusively. While the franchisor commits not to establish another ecomaids franchise with overlapping territory, it retains the right to conduct business or license others in nearby areas, provided there's no material overlap.
If a franchisee’s market share within their Territory drops below 70% of the average for comparable franchises after four years, the franchisor may reduce the size of the Territory. However, ecomaids does not offer an exclusive territory in the strict sense.
Franchisees may face competition from other franchisees, corporate-owned units, or competitive businesses operated by the franchisor under different trademarks. Additionally, the franchisor reserves broad rights to market through alternative channels such as online platforms or direct marketing within and beyond the Territory.
