Based in Flower Mound, Texas, Eat The Frog Fitness is a unique fitness studio franchise that understands the challenges of procrastination and making it to the gym. Offering 57-minute coach-led workout sessions, the studio aims to support guests on their fitness journeys.

Established in 2015 by entrepreneur Joe Culver and Olympic gold medalist Brian Clay, Eat The Frog Fitness combines a meticulously designed, science-based training program to provide a personalized fitness experience.

Training

Manager Training

Aimed at franchisees, their Operating Partners, and General Managers, this training covers the essential aspects of running a Studio. The 20-hour classroom training session is held at the franchise's training facilities, which may be located in Seattle or Anacortes, WA.

Completion of this training by both the franchisee (or their Operating Partner) and the General Manager is mandatory before initiating any Pre-Opening Membership Sales. While the training itself is free, franchisees are responsible for travel, lodging, and transportation expenses.

Coach’s Training

Designed for up to ten individuals chosen by the franchisee as coaches for their Studio, this training focuses on the Curriculum and includes 7 days of training at the franchisee's Studio. Certification by the franchise is required for all coaches before they can start teaching.

The franchise may also allow the franchisee to conduct certification programs at their Studio for training prospective coaches. Although there is no charge for Coach’s Training, additional costs may apply if the franchisee needs to send video recordings for review during the certification process.

Experience On-Boarding

This 16-hour on-the-job training module takes place at the franchise's training site, which can be in Seattle or Anacortes, WA.

Territory Protection

The franchise ensures a form of territory protection for its franchisees, designed to foster a more stable and profitable operating environment. This protection is implemented by guaranteeing that no other franchise studio will be allowed to operate within a 2-mile radius of an existing franchisee's studio. This radius helps maintain a balanced distribution of studios and reduces direct competition among franchisees.

By enforcing this 2-mile buffer zone, the franchise aims to support franchisees in building a loyal customer base without the concern of immediate saturation from nearby studios. This exclusivity not only enhances the potential for market penetration but also allows franchisees to focus on providing high-quality service and developing strong community ties.

Overall, the territory protection policy underscores the franchise's commitment to the success of its franchisees. By strategically limiting the proximity of other studios, the franchise ensures that each location has a fair opportunity to thrive, benefiting both individual franchisees and the brand as a whole.
