Training

Crave Cookies offers a structured and multi-tiered training program to prepare franchisees for successful operation. Below are the main programs outlined:

  1. Initial Training Program
The Principal Executive and up to two additional team members must attend Crave Cookies’ standard pre-opening training at the company’s headquarters or a designated business location. This program includes an Onboarding Checklist with written procedures, training videos, Knowledge Reviews (graded assessments), and checklists to ensure readiness.
  2. Pre-Opening and On-Site Training
Training also includes 3–7 days of on-site assistance during the franchise opening. This segment is led by corporate delegates or tenured managers and covers operational tasks, customer service, and staff coaching.
  3. Post-Opening and Additional Training
Post-opening, Crave Cookies may require supplemental training sessions for the Principal Executive or other staff, held at any location and in any format determined by the franchisor. Although there's no fee for the standard training for up to three people, the franchisee bears all travel and living expenses. Optional training services may be subject to a $250 per person per day charge if additional managers are trained or retraining is required.

Territory Protection

Crave Cookies offers its franchisees a protected territory, meaning the franchisor will not open or authorize another franchise or company-owned location selling similar goods under the Crave Cookies brand within that territory. This applies unless the site falls under "limited access venues," which are locations like stadiums, universities, or airports where general public access is restricted.

However, even within protected territories, the franchisor reserves the right to use other distribution channels, such as internet sales or partnerships with different brands, which may still affect the franchisee's market presence.
