Training

Certified Restoration DryCleaning Network (CRDN) delivers a structured and multi-phase training program for franchisees to ensure they meet operational standards and understand the franchise system.

  1. Initial Training
Franchisees must attend CRDN's Initial Training as a precondition to opening. This program, included with the Fixed Licensing Fee, is typically a five-day session held quarterly and may take place at CRDN's headquarters or another designated location. It may also include virtual components and optional training for additional services.
  2. Follow-up and Refresher Training
Franchisees are required to attend follow-up training within 24 months of completing Initial Training and refresher training every two years. Attendance at CRDN Conventions or Regional Meetings is mandatory each year unless one is not held.
  3. Additional and Optional Program Training
CRDN may mandate other industry-related training sessions, and franchisees must cover all related travel and living expenses. Optional programs offered by CRDN also require specific training before participation.

Territory Protection

Certified Restoration DryCleaning Network (CRDN) assigns each franchisee a specific "Franchise Territory," typically defined by political or geographical boundaries such as counties, zip codes, or census tracts. This territory is detailed in Exhibit A of the Franchise Agreement.

While CRDN grants the right to operate within this defined territory, the agreement clearly states that it is not exclusive, and the franchisor retains the right to perform services or establish other operations within the same area under specific limitations.

Franchisees are prohibited from marketing outside their assigned territory unless they receive explicit written permission from CRDN or the relevant territory owner. CRDN may also allow other franchisees to operate facilities within a given territory, provided those franchisees also respect marketing and service boundaries.
